Living with chronic illness can feel invisible. When you’re dealing with symptoms that don’t always show—migraines, fatigue, anxiety, sensory overload, depression, brain fog, or chronic pain—it’s easy to feel misunderstood, dismissed, or just plain exhausted.
That’s why I created HealNoMeds: a space to share tools, encouragement, and awareness for people living with conditions like MCS, PTSD, fibromyalgia, chronic migraines, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), and more.
This week, I’m incredibly proud (and a little nervous!) to announce three new additions—created with you in mind:
Recent research has started to confirm what many of us with MCS and other sensitivities already know: these conditions are real, complex, and biologically rooted. For those interested in the science, here’s a recent peer-reviewed study that explores the neurological mechanisms behind chemical intolerance:

1. A Puzzle & Reflection Book for Chronic Illness Warriors
Not everyone wants to read or write every day. Some of us need gentle puzzles, simple mood trackers, and peaceful pages that give our minds a break.
This activity book is designed for low-energy days, flare-ups, and brain fog. There’s no pressure—just a space to breathe, reflect, and maybe even smile.

2. The Healing Apothecary: Herbal Remedies & Natural Self-Care

I wrote this book as a gentle introduction to natural remedies—simple enough for beginners, powerful enough to bring real relief.

Why This Matters
These projects aren’t just products—they’re part of a bigger mission:
To spread awareness.
To build connection.
To remind each other that we are not alone in our struggles—whether it’s physical pain, fatigue, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm.
Why awareness matters:
Millions live with invisible illnesses like chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), fibromyalgia, migraines, and PTSD. Increased awareness leads to better support, reduced stigma, and improved healthcare outcomes.
Studies are beginning to show deeper neurological and biological links behind conditions like MCS and environmental sensitivity.
For those interested in the science, here’s a recent review article published in Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews:

Let’s keep healing—our way.
With love,
Maya
